This is a 1920s era chemise styled slip made of yellow lawn cotton - light and breezy.  The slip is embroidered with a flower basket design at the upper centre and stitched along the edges in pink thread.  It has spaghetti straps and is made in a short length.  It is decorated with fagoting and gathered in tiny tucks at either side of the waist.

Sizing:  No size is indicated, but I think that this would fit a small to medium size - please note the following measurements for fit, taking into account that this should be comfortably loose:

 Bust:  35” around

Waist:  36” around

Length:  26 1/2” long from the top of the strap to the hemline, measured flat

Condition: No wear, tear, staining or odour - one tiny hole at the right side top at the pink stitched trim (see close-up embroidery photo), just needs a stitch to repair, otherwise, this slip is ready to wear.

This is a wonderful flapper era slip - simple, but lovely!
